Sighthound Coats

We offer our customers the opportunity to "pick and mix" their chosen fabrics and tailor the coats to suit our customer's requirements regarding size of sighthound. It is extremely difficult to find a sighthound coat to fit the pet that doesn't conform to the usual standard size coat. Therefore we offer this service, but depend heavily on the customer measuring their hound as per our diagram on the coat page.

We have designed our coats to incorporate a turned back collar that fits snugly around the hound's neck. Most coats of this design have turned back collars but have a tendency to flop around the neck and annoy the dog, but with our design it keeps the dog warm and cosy and is instantly turned up to protect from rain. We use a black waterproof trim around the edge of the coat for a finishing touch, leaving the rest of the coat for you to decide upon colour choice.

We also provide an embroidery service for your hound's name, but coats with this 'extra' cannot be returned if you have incorrectly measured your pet. We try to find a complimentary silk colour to match the predominant fleece colour, but please bear in mind that this is embroidery NOT printed and will, therefore, if not treated kindly, become worn.

We also make kennel coats in the same fleeces as the range on offer for our waterproof coats, but are double fleeced. You can still have the option of a tummy velcro band as per the waterproof coats, a webbing belt with buckle or, in the case of the kennel coat, a tie-up. The latter is a woven polyester webbing tape which goes around the dog's waist and as it suggests you just tie it up. We can quote you according to requirements and size
