"When humans die, they make a will
To leave their homes and all they have
To those they love
I, too, would make a will if I could write

To some poor wistful lonely stray
I leave my happy home
My dish, my cosy bed, my cushioned chair, my toy,
The well loved lap, the gently stroking hand;
The loving voice,
The place I made in someone's heart,
The love, that at the last could help me to
A peaceful painless end
Held in loving arms.

If I should die Oh do not say,
"No more a pet I'll have
To grieve me by it's loss"
Seek out some lonely, unloved dog
And give my place to him.
This is my legacy I leave behind
'Tis all I have to give.

Bitsy

Bitsy here. Just wanted to give you an update on how I am getting on in my foster home. I have been with my foster family for 3 months now. This is what my foster mom has to say about me.

Bitsy is a little girl full of character who adores people. She loves cuddles and human contact but does take great comfort being with her pack, we have three greys of our own . Her socialization skills have improved greatly, but the work will need to continue. She is quite a sensitive little soul, so a home where she is made to feel secure is top of her wish list. Her greatest loves in life apart from food, kisses and cuddles are to watch T.V – to date her favourite film is IceAge 2 and squeaky toys. Perhaps for this reason a home with older children would be preferable. It is such a joy to be greeted by Bitsy she just radiates sunshine. I promise you won’t fail to love her, with her waggy tail and her attempts at smiling. So if you can offer the home that Bitsy is looking for and so deserves, please contact the trust either by telephone or email.

Kitsch Collars is also very proud to sponsor "Scottsy" with his collar and tassels.

Scottsy is the uk's first READING EDUCATION ASSISTANCE DOG.

Scotts is a trained Therapy & Education dog and is now the uk’s first Reading Education Assistance Dog.

Scottsy is a large ex-racing greyhound, he goes into schools and children sit or stand and read books to him.

This works especially well with children who have special needs, or children who are reluctant readers.  Scottsy does not judge! It is a part of Animal Assisted Therapy/Activities, using the dog as a learning tool. Children relate to animals and a great bond is often set between them.

Scottsy has had great results with Autistic children, children with Downs Syndrome and children diagnosed with ADHD .

Here he is with his owner Tony on a recent appearance on Sky Sports.
